Henrico Doctors’ Hospital Launches $100 Million Expansion
EMS, Physicians and Healthcare Community Turn Out for Celebration
Richmond, VA, July 1, 2009 – Henrico Doctors’ Hospital launched its $100 million expansion today with a Groundbreaking Celebration highlighting its physicians, EMS partners and 35 years of service to the community.
“This expansion will transform the hospital into the healthcare center of the future with a new Emergency Department, Heart Center, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Cancer Specialty Clinics and intra-operative MRI,” said Patrick Farrell, CEO of Henrico Doctors’ Hospital.
Local Emergency Medical Service providers were consulted in the design of the Emergency Department to make sure that the new design is best equipped to serve our most critically ill patients and their caregivers.
